In this thesis, we did inflammatory and miRNA biomarker studies in Chapter 2. Biomarker studies in Chapter 2 showed association between inflammatory markers and AD, and suggest that there is inflammatory component in the disease progression of AD. In Chapter 3, we studied more on the mechanism of neuroinflammation and tried to look for feasible interventions for it.
