Abstract: Gastric cancer (GC) is one of the major healthcare burdens worldwide, particularly in East Asia. microRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of non-coding small RNAs that regulate gene expression, and have also been implicated as biomarkers associated with clinical outcomes or drug resistance in many cancers. The overall aim of this study is to gain new insights into the roles of miRNAs in GC pathogenesis as well as chemosensitivity through high-throughput miRNAs investigation. For this purpose, three studies were performed.
