Abstract: This research developed a simple universal method for extracting the Thermoelectric Generator (TEG) Seebeck coefficient and internal resistance to be used for TEG modelling to enable simulation of the TEG behavior to predict the performance of energy harvesting circuit designed with the particular TEG. Current existing method of TEG parameters extraction were either too complicated, requiring in-depth material knowledge or inadequate that the TEG model is inaccurate. Therefore, this research aims to provide a simpler method of TEG parameters extraction to enable the Power Electronic Engineers to acquire the necessary parameters for energy harvesting circuit modelling, reducing their learning curve, development cost and speed up the research time.
