ScholarBank@NUS Repository.||Abstract:||A study was made of the efficacy and acceptance of Depo Provera (depot medroxyprogesterone acetate) injections given every 6 mth, in postpartum patients. Analysis of the results in the first 310 patients showed a low acceptance rate. The cumulative discontinuation rates of 50 per 100 women at 6 mth, and 75 per 100 women at 12 mth are much higher than reported in other series.||Source Title:||Australian and New Zealand Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/134244||ISSN:||00048666|
