|Issue Date:||1975||Citation:||Bose, K., Yeo, K.Q. (1975). The role of surgery in cerebral palsy. Singapore Medical Journal 16 (4) : 249-255. ScholarBank@NUS Repository.||Abstract:||Fifty cases of 'Cerebral Palsy' with operative treatment were reviewed. No child was worse after surgery. Ambulation and function had improved in all cases, but in varying degrees. It is emphasized that a group effort is essential in the management of these children. Poor results from the surgery of cerebral palsy are mainly from patients with contractures who are either operated on inadequately, or too late, or not in the correct sequence.||Source Title:||Singapore Medical Journal||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/133844||ISSN:||00375675|
