Abstract: My thesis includes two parts. In first part, we firstly study the relations betweenthe Berry's approach, Aharonov and Anandan's approach and dynamical invariantapproach to the geometric phase. Then, we propose a definition about the geometricphase in the open system in terms of its geometric structure.In second part, a new scheme to realize nonadiabatic geometric quantum compu-tation is firstly proposed by varying parameters in the Hamiltonian for the nuclear-magnetic-resonance systems. Then the method is expanded to the cavity QEDsystem. At last, we propose the definition about quantum tunneling time by usingthe geometric phase in quantum tunneling process.
