dc.description.abstract	The use of reflectance colorimeters for home glucose monitoring has been recently advocated. We evaluated 3 such instruments in our outpatient laboratory over a 4 months' period. The results were comparable with those obtained from a reference method (Beckman-Autoanalyser) in accuracy and precision. The 3 instruments provide simple and reliable methods for home blood glucose monitoring.
