dc.description.abstract5 cases of primary palmar hyperhydrosis were treated during a 4-year period. The clinical features and surgical indications for sympathectomy are discussed. Surgery should be undertaken after careful selection. The advantages of a transaxillary upper dorsal sympathectomy are pointed out. Complications resulting from this procedure are few.
