Abstract: This thesis is focused on the models and algorithms for some supply chain design and planning issues which are classified into domestic supply chain issues and global supply chain issues. Regarding the domestic supply chain issues, an alternative model and solution algorithm were firstly developed for supply chain network equilibrium (SCNE) models (Nagurney et al., 2002; Dong et al., 2004). Afterwards, the SCNE model (Nagurnet et al., 2002) was extent to an SCNE model with production capacity constraints. Finally, a Mathematical Program with Equilibrium Constraints was present for a novel competitive facility location problem, applying the SCNE model with capacity constraints to obtain the equilibrium state of the supply chain. Regarding the global supply chain issues, a chance-constrained programming model was firstly developed for a centralized global supply chain, considering transfer pricing and demand uncertainty. Subsequently, a game-theoretical model was proposed for a decentralized global supply chain.
