Abstract: A 21-year-old Chinese female presented with right groin pain of a year's duration. Over the next one and a half years, radiographs of the pelvis revealed progressive resorption of the right pubic bone. Histological examination of the lesion revealed areas of bone necrosis with increased vascularity in the bone fragments. A diagnosis of Gorham's disease was made and the patient appeared to have spontaneous arrest of the disease process with conservative treatment.
