Abstract: I study the subjectsb farsighted behavior in hedonic game, which is first developed by Bogomolnaia and Jackson (2002). I design a 2 by 2 experiment. In these games, groups of subjects are repeatedly required to state which coalition they tend to form. If the subjectsb proposals match, a certain coalition will be formed and award the subjects with predetermined amount of money. I compare the results from the two elements: the complexity of the preference structure and risk of behaving farsightedly. The data collected from the experiment are also used to construct a simple model of dynamic coalition formation process.
