ScholarBank@NUS Repository.||Abstract:||This dissertation aims to determine the impact of orientation on residential property prices using 3D modeling technique and compare house price determinants between Beijing and Singapore.We find that while the effects of structural variables are similar for both markets, the impact of environmental factors is substantially different. In Beijing, orientation with greater sunlight duration has a positive impact. In contrast, the opposite is true for the Singapore market. In terms of view, it is more significant in Singapore than in Beijing, as orientation seems to override other factors in the latter market.||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/12868|
