dc.description.abstractVERSATILE 1,4-SUBSTITUTED 1,2,3-TRIAZOLE BASED LIGANDS AND THEIR TRANSITION METAL COMPLEXES HAVE ATTRACTED RISING ATTENTION DURING LAST DECADE AND HAVE BEEN WIDELY USED IN CATALYSIS, LUMINESCENCE AND MAGNETISM. IN THIS THESIS, A SERIES OF NOVEL HYBRID 1,2,3-TRIAZOLES HAVE BEEN SYNTHESIZED VIA CUAAC CLICK REACTION, CONTAINING FLEXIBLE MONO-TRIAZOLE, BIS-TRIAZOLE AND CONJUGATED BIS-TRIAZOLE MOLECULES. THESE MOLECULES ARE USED AS LIGANDS REACTING WITH TRANSITION METALS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF MOLECULAR MATERIALS, WHICH INCLUDES: (I) PHOTOLUMINESCENT AND CATALYTIC ACTIVE CU(I) COORDINATION POLYMERS WITH [CUI]N AGGREGATES; (II) PHOTOLUMINESCENT AND STRUCTURE TUNABLE ZN(II) AND CD(II) FRAMEWORKS; (III) A SERIES OF MN(II), FE(II), CO(II), NI(II) COORDINATION ASSEMBLIES; (IV) MAGNETIC CU(II), NI(II) AND CO(II) DINUCLEAR COMPLEXES AND (V) CATALYTIC ACTIVE PINCER PT(II) COMPLEXES FOR HYDROSILYLATION REACTION.
