dc.description.abstract | Magneto-dielectric coated wire monopole of height 250 mm is further designed through putting PEC posts uniformly distributed around the magneto-dielectric cylinder. An antenna height reduction factor of less than 1/10 is achieved at HF band with the help of the magneto-dielectric material. The designed electrically small magneto-dielectric coated monopole antenna resonates at 27.0 MHz with good matching to 50Ω SMA connector. © 2012 IEEE. | |
