A π phase shift occurs in an undoped PPLN with applied magnetic field reaches ∼ 0.45 T, but in the case of MgO-doped PPLN crystal, THz phase shows magnetic field independence. The magnetic field induced π-phase shift comes from the photorefractive effect in PPLN crystal. © 2009 IEEE.||Source Title:||34th International Conference on Infrared, Millimeter, and Terahertz Waves, IRMMW-THz 2009||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/116095||ISBN:||9781424454174||DOI:||10.1109/ICIMW.2009.5324945|
