dc.description.abstractThis paper presents an overview of the design of the system for interactive 3-D visualization of the city model. It uses high resolution images of IKONOS satellite and corresponding camera model of Rational Polynomial Coefficients (RPC) for building texture mapping and orthorectified images for ground texture mapping. The level of detail for both terrain and texture is applied, and 2D virtual memory management system is implemented for efficient visualization.
