Abstract: Dynamic and static magnetic properties of ceramic Ba3Co 2Fe24-xTixO41 with x=0-0.6 have been studied. The results show that all Ba3Co2Fe 24-xTixO41 has c-plane anisotropy and the anisotropy fields Hθ increase with Ti substitution. The curve-fit shows that their complex permeability is composed of two components, namely gyromagnetic permeability from natural resonance and wall permeability from wall resonances. With Ti substitution, the real permeability first increases to the maximum at x=0.3-0.45 and then decreases, which is attributed to the competition of gyromagnetic and wall permeability. In addition, the dynamic parameters (μ′0, μ″max and fR) of the two resonances and their relations with the static parameters (4πMs and Hθ) are also discussed. © 2013 Elsevier B.V.
