dc.description.abstractVarious parameters influence dispersion and further on occupant's exposure to cough droplets released in the mechanically air conditioned enclosures. Using cough machine as a source this study investigates impact of: (i) cough release posture and (ii) relative orientation between source and receiver on the exposure of occupants in indoor environment where ceiling mounted mixing ventilation is applied. Results indicate that both of these parameters have strong impact on the occupants' exposure and need to be included into analysis when protective performance of air distribution system is examined.
