Abstract: To understand the scattering effect of cavity wall profile, a new parameter has been introduced in the CHANNEL model to control its wall profile. Through changing the parameter, the CHANNEL model can be modified to produce a cavity with different wall profile, leading to different interior scattering property. This will help in understanding the effect of cavity wall profile on its interior scattering and in controlling the scattering mechanism. A higher-order FE-BI code developed in-house is used in all numerical simulations. © 2007 IEEE.
