Abstract: The complex permittivity and permeability, the relationship between static and dynamic properties and attenuation properties for BaZn2-xCo xFe16O27 composites with x = 0.7-2.0, are discussed. The static permeability and the resonance frequency are associated with the static parameters, anisotropy fields and saturation magnetization. It is found that the attenuation properties, percentage bandwidth and minimum reflection loss RL are closely related to the thickness and volume concentration of the composites. The results show that low in-plane anisotropy field and high saturation magnetization are necessary in order to obtain high permeability.
