dc.description.abstract | The activity of generating bibliographic data and the storage of the article (PDF) are usually separate activities. Desktop journal reference management software have been developed to manage bibliographic data but the PDF files are usually managed separately or added on later as a special feature. Based on a strategy used in tagging of MP3 files, a web based application in which the bibliographic data is embedded to the PDF has been developed. Such a paradigm shift allows highly efficient web applications to be developed for management of citations, bibliographic data and documents. | |
