Abstract: The magnetic and electric properties of SiO2-doped Mn ferrite by mechanical alloying were studied. A SiO2-doped Mn ferrite was prepared using high-energy ball milling and subsequent annealing. It was found that this material not only maintains the high saturation magnetization (Ms) of Mn ferrite, but also possessed an increased electrical resistivity.
