dc.description.abstractAll 5 previously described species of hymenosomatids were examined. Micas gen. nov. is established for Elamena minuta A. Milne Edwards, 1873, and Micasfalcipes sp. nov., whilst Odiomaris gen. nov. is established for Elamena pilosa A. Milne Edwards, 1873. Specimens previously referred to E. truncala (Stimpson, 1858) are here described as Elamena vesca sp. nov. Brachyura, Hymenosomatidae, New Caledonia, Indo-West Pacific.
