Abstract: In this paper, we study various relations between Bessel sequences, frames, Riesz bases and biorthogonality in Hilbert spaces. We also consider the problem of existence of oblique multiwavelets in the setting of [1], and show that oblique multiwavelets exist under a very natural assumption.
