dc.description.abstract	The spider crab Doclea johnsoni Ow-Yang, in Lovett, 1981, is shown to be a junior subjective synonym of D. canaliformis Ow-Yang, in Lovett, 1981. Hyastenus trispinosus Rathbun, 1916, is also synonymised under H. subinermis Zehntner, 1894. The geographical distribution of Hyastenus cracentis Griffin & Tranter, 1986, and H. elatus Griffin & Tranter, 1986, are also extended to Hong Kong and Singapore respectively.
