Irreducibility of moduli space of harmonic 2-spheres in S4

Abstract
In this paper we prove that for d ≥ 3, the moduli spaces of degree d branched superminimal immersions of the 2-sphere into S4 has 2 irreducible components. Consequently, the moduli space of degree d harmonic 2-spheres in S4 has 3 irreducible components. © 1999, Sociedade Brasileira de Matemática.
