Abstract: A Cu-Zn-Al triple-component catalyst for methanol synthesis was prepared by high speed collision coprecipitation method. The characterization of the catalyst by means of N 2O-decomposition, H 2-TPD and SEM indicated that the catalyst possessed high dispersion and large specific surface area. The catalytic performance of the catalyst showed that it possessed high activity. It could be used for methanol synthesis in industry.
