Abstract: Experimental proton-induced Lα, Lβ1,3,4, Lβ2,15, Lγ1, Lγ2,3, Lγ4,4, and Ll absolute X-ray production cross sections for the elements Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, and Lu in the incident proton energy range between 1.97 and 6 MeV are presented. The experimental results for X-ray production cross sections and their ratios are compared with the experimental data published by the other authors and with the predictions of the ECPSSR theory [W. Brandt and G. Lapicki, Phys. Rev. A 20 (1979) 465; and Phys. Rev. A 23 (1981) 1717]. © 1994.
