dc.description.abstractAn information-theoretic definition of the measure of the strength of two-particle interference is presented. It exploits the mutual information contained in the coincidence probabilities. The corresponding single-particle measure is, in some sense, the fringe-contrast analog of the entropic measure for path knowledge.
