Abstract: The effects of nucleation nature and microgravity on the formation of porous bone were examined from the point of view of Ca mineral nucleation. Evidence was obtained that under microgravity, biomineralization/remineralization occurs via the homogeneous-like nucleation. This observation indicates that if bone turnover in microgravity will have some problems in a short period of time, bones in the living bodies will develop gradually into a porous structure in the evolution from several months to a year under microgravity.
