Abstract: The temperature dependence of the resistivity ρ(T) and Hall coefficient RH(T) is reported for the series of YBa2 (Cu1-x Cox)3 O7-δ (x = 0.01,0.02) and YBa2(Cu1-yZny)3O 7-δ(y = 0.005,0.010) thin films. We find the opening of pseudogap at T* ≈ 193 and 225K in Co-doped samples, and its temperature dependence of the resistivity is very similar to the underdoped YBa2Cu3O7-δ system, but much different from the Zn-doped films, which do not show the effect of pseudogap on the temperature dependence of resistivity. Another characteristic temperature T0, lying between Tc and T*, is determined by the deviation of the inverse Hall constant RH -1 from the Tn behaviour(n is a fit parameter for the temperature dependence of the RH -1). We tentatively related T0 to the pseudogap temperature determined by NMR, and proposed that T0 and T* may originate from the opening of gap in spin and charge degrees of freedom, respectively.
