Abstract: The synthesis and structure of (Ph 4P) 2[Zn 2(μ-SCH 2CH 2OH) 2Cl 4] are reported. X-ray crystallography reveals that the dimers are linked by intermolecular O-H..Cl hydrogen bonding to produce one-dimensional polymeric structure in the solid state.
