|Abstract:||FeCl3 was found to be an active catalyst for the one-pot allylation reaction of aromatic aldehydes with allyltriethoxysilane under mild and simple conditions, which resulted in the direct synthesis of homoallyl ethers with very high chemoselectivity and yields.
