Abstract: The preparation, characterization and in vitro release of the paclitaxel loaded PLGA nanospheres were investigated. Vitamin E TPGS was applied as emulsifier to fabricate the paclitaxel-loaded PLGA nanospheres by the single emulsion solvent extraction/evaporation technique. The results showed that vitamin E TPGS is a very ideal and effective emulsifier and the encapsulation efficiency can be high as 100%.
