|Abstract:||Today the service sector offers a tremendous potential for growth and profitability. Managers of service firms face the challenge of creating a flow of innovations that ensure better results and long-term survival. Based on a literature on service innovation, this article take stock the knowledge in service innovation accumulated in the past two decades and look for possible future directions to take the field further forward. © 2006 IEEE.|
