In addition, with the same nanophotonic device, we report a novel NEMS approach to control the optical bistability in the double-coupled photonic crystal cavities. In this approach, the gap spacing between two coupled cavities is scanned by the NEMS actuator. Hysteresis loops characterizing the optical bistability are experimentally observed. © 2013 IEEE. | Source Title: | International Conference on Optical MEMS and Nanophotonics | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/85884 | ISBN: | 9781479915125 | ISSN: | 21605033 | DOI: | 10.1109/OMN.2013.6659115 |
