Abstract: Interactive & Digital Media Institute (IDMI) in National University of Singapore was established in 2007 to undertake leading-edge, use-inspired basic research in emerging fields of Interactive & Digital Media (IDM) relevant to the critical future needs of Singapore's industry. This paper briefly introduces the structure and research activities of IDMI. Also it would introduce some of the ambient intelligence centric research. © ICT&S Center, University of Salzburg.
