|Abstract:||Optical performance monitoring (OPM) may play a key role for system management in high-speed optical fiber transmission systems. Delay-tap sampling (DTS) is a simple and effective method for OPM. In this paper, we review our techniques based on low bandwidth DTS to monitor chromatic dispersion (CD) and optical signal to noise ratio (OSNR), which increase the performance while reduce the cost. © 2013 IEEE.|
