Abstract: This correspondence is concerned with the H∞ filter design for Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems with state-delay. A delay-dependent design method is proposed in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMI). The main contribution is the use of fuzzy weighting-dependent Lyapunov functionals which can reduce the conservatism arisen from the quadratic Lyapunov functional approach. An illustrative example is given to show the effectiveness of the present method. © 2007 IEEE.
