In this paper, a solution to the Hadamard weighted H∞ (HWH∞) 1-block problem is proposed. The solution is based on a method by Safonov and Le [1]. Simulation results are used to illustrate the effect of the Hadamard weights on the off-diagonal elements of the sensitivity function as well as performance of the closed loop design. The robust stability of designs based on the HWH∞ method is also discussed.
