dc.description.abstract | A new linear-phase three-way filter system for digital audio tone-control application is presented. Approximately 80% of its coefficient values are zero. The remaining nonzero coefficient values are 0. 5 and 0. 25. Thus the filter system is essentially multiplication free. When the high-frequency and low-frequency gain weightings are unity, the filter system acts as a pure delay producing no frequency response distortion. | |
