Abstract: The surface composition of poly(vinyl chloride) / poly (α-methylstyrene-co-acrylonitrile) blends has been determined by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The surfaces of both miscible and immiscible blends are enriched with poly(vinyl chloride) and the enrichment is more pronounced for the immiscible blends. © 1991.
