Abstract: A modified electrode has been prepared by electrodeposition of Pt particles into Nafion-coated glassy carbon (GC). The electrochemical properties of the Pt - Nafion - GC electrode were compared with those of Pt, GC and Pt-modified GC electrodes. The Pt - Nafion - GC electrode showed good stability and was used for the determination of hydrogen peroxide. An application of this electrode to flow injection analysis electrochemical detection is also described.
