Abstract: The miscibility of poly(acetonyl methacrylate) (PACMA) with some chlorine-containing polymers was studied by differential scanning calorimetry. PACMA is miscible with poly(vinyl chloride) and poly(chloromethyl methacrylate) and partially miscible with a vinylidene chloride/vinyl chloride copolymer, polyepichlorohydrin and an epichlorohydrin/ethylene oxide copolymer. The miscibility behaviour of PACMA is compared to those of poly(n-propyl methacrylate) and poly(isopropyl methacrylate). © 1990.
