Abstract: The bifunctional fluorophore, 7-amino-4-carbamoylmethylcoumarin (ACC) without any protection groups, was regioselectively attached to different solid supports functionalized with a primary amino group. The resulting resins were used to synthesize fluorogenic protease substrates with high yield and purity. © 2003 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
