Abstract: In situ formed dienamines as HOMO-raising dipolarophiles react with azides to afford the corresponding triazole-olefins in good to excellent yields via a catalytic inverse-electron-demand 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition process. © The Royal Society of Chemistry 2013.
