Abstract: A low-cost, convenient approach, based on gold nanoparticles and DNA interstrand cross-linking has been developed for rapid colorimetric detection of anticancer drugs. This method also provides insight into the controlled assembly of DNA superstructures. © 2013 The Royal Society of Chemistry.
