Abstract: Camphor is used as the chiral auxiliary for the enantioselective synthesis of cis linear homoallylic alcohols. A range of catalysts, aldehydes, and solvents were investigated to obtain the optimum yield, enantioselectivity, and cis olefinic geometry.
