Issue Date: | 2006 | Citation: | Inai, R.,Kotaki, M.,Ramakrishna, S. (2006). Structure and properties of electrospun PLLA nanofibers. Polymer Preprints, Japan 55 (2) : 5507-. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | Previously, we reported that alignment, molecular structure and mechanical strength of electrospun nanofibers can be controlled using a disc collector. In this study, we have investigated the effects of rotation speed in further higher range and post-processing (annealing, hot-drawing) on molecular structure of electrospun PLLA nanofibers. As the results, higher crystallinity and crystalline orientation were found in PLLA nanofibers electrospun at higher rotation speed and followed by hot-drawing of higher ratio. | Source Title: | Polymer Preprints, Japan | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/73877 |
