Title: | Transport properties of magnetic nanowires with multiple constrictions formed by FIB | Authors: | Liu, T. Wu, Y. |
Issue Date: | 2004 | Citation: | Liu, T.,Wu, Y. (2004). Transport properties of magnetic nanowires with multiple constrictions formed by FIB. Materials Research Society Symposium Proceedings 818 : 317-322. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | Ni nanowires were fabricated by electrochemical deposition in the pores of alumina filtration membranes, with the diameter around 200nm. To study the magnetic and electrical properties of Ni nanowires, individual nanowire was selected and connected with metal electrodes. Single and multiple constrictions were formed on the nanowires by focused ion beam (FIB). The wires were further thinned using oxygen plasma oxidation. Magnetoresistance curves were studied and compared before and after FIB trimming and oxidization. | Source Title: | Materials Research Society Symposium Proceedings | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/72084 | ISSN: | 02729172 |
